Timelines for appellants – Appeals

When an applicant receives a decision letter on their international protection application, they have the following number of days in which to submit their appeal to the Tribunal for Asylum and Returns Appeals:

Timelines for appellants – Request to Remain in the State pending appeal

A request to remain in the State pending appeal must be submitted within 10 days of the date of the notice of the decision that is under appeal.

Timelines for appellants – Deemed withdrawal

Where an appellant fails to attend an oral hearing, they must provide a satisfactory explanation to the Tribunal within 3 days.  Failure to do so will mean that their appeal is deemed withdrawn.
